ISMAR7 AbstractExpanding Experience at Intermediate and Deep Water LevelsHank Baski, President, Baski Inc., Denver, Colorado USA Driven by economic, environmental, legal, political, and technical factors, the huge worldwide potential for aquifer storage & recovery (ASR) is translating into a sizeable and growing body of practical knowledge on the design, construction and operation of injection and pumping wells. With particular emphasis on settings with water levels from 50 to 2,000 feet below ground, this talk will summarize the collected experience with issues of equipment & material choices, drilling, data acquisition & control, maintenance, operational optimization & troubleshooting. In this context, it will also highlight examples relating to the interplay of our groundwater and oilfield experiences. |
